In this class two day class we will each weave ourselves a light, durable and beautiful backpack basket perfect for everyday use and/or hiking our local mountains. We will be using flat reed to weave and shape this basket perfectly to your body. Each student will learn the basics of weaving and working with flat material and creating durable and comfortable straps for your basket (all materials are provided). You will also have the option of learning various other weaves to enhance/ embellish your basket (colorful weavers available for embellishment).
