Basket Weaver...Basket Teacher

Emily has been teaching Basketry and Hand Weaving to adults and children for the past 4 years. She teaches at primitive skills gatherings, summer camps, after school programs, The Organic Growers School, and teaches public and private classes in Asheville and surrounding areas. Emily taught basketry and other crafts to adults with developmental disabilities for the past year and continues to work one on one with a couple of them.
Emily enjoys teaching almost as much as she enjoys weaving baskets. She is always working on improving her teaching methods and collecting new skills to share.
